Most of the island used to be a lush carefully maintained park, but it has been left on its own for pretty much a decade by now. Lots of out of control huge plants. Rhododendrons, ferns, roses, etc. Some trees that look truly ancient.
Unassuming door in what basically looks like a hill goes down into a half-underground cellar. Someone has obviously been living here.

- Skeletons of cats, foxes, squirrels and various birds
- Tiberius' meticulous journal describing the comings and goings of the kids and counselors, and actions the old man undertook to prevent them finding the hidden lab and portal.
- Inflatable mattress

- Drinking water in 10l jugs and smaller bottles.

Slightly neglected lawn between the castle and the coach house, used for playing impromptu games, having picnics, etc.

Round, about 2 meters tall and 3m diameter. Sculpture of mythological figures, quite spectacular but obviously abandoned and now just a scummy pond

Pitch black water, lilies, frogs. Small island in the middle. The pond is connected on both ends to a narrow circular stream that goes around the castle.

Originally sixteenth-century, the gatehouse forms the main entrance to the castle domain. It has been converted to a home for the house warden and his daughter.
Things to be discovered
- A HAM radio. It is difficult to operate if you don't know what you're doing.
- General tools for working on the gatehouse and other buildings. Saws, hammers, screwdrivers, a drill, nails, screws, etc.
Next to the gatehouse. A lush garden with all sorts of vegetables, well tended by the house warden and his daughter. There is a small garden shed

17th century building originally intended for isolating plague victims. Currently in ruins.

- If the portal is open, a spider's nest with cocooned animals, later also maybe a child or two

A small wooden jetty where boats can dock. The island's main shuttle boat is usually docked here, but Gustaf has taken it out.

- When Gustaf has returned, the boat is here but it has been overrun by giant centipedes who have been gnawing at it, causing it to sink.
The farm used to supply the castle with fresh produce, milk, eggs and meat, but it has been abandoned for over a century. You can still make out the fields, and the walls of the building are largely still standing.

- If you dig around in the weeds, you can find some severely rusted old farm tools
In one of the inlets on the southeastern side of the island, there is a small sandy beach. It is hard to reach due to some steep rocks.

- A motor dinghy, somewhat hidden under a tarp.
